The Spanish striker has not been a regular for Athletic Bilbao for quite some time now and with his contract nearing its expiry, Llorente has claimed that he wants to move to the English Premier League.
Since the arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marcelo-c23554 Bielsa, Fernando Llorente has not been playing a huge role at Bilbao.
A few years ago, when Bielsa did not take charge of the Spanish club, Fernando Llorente was considered to be their best player on the pitch as he was the only one scoring goals.
However, with Llorente stating that he wants to leave the Basque-based outfit, the coach has decided to leave him out and he has not been a regular player for them lately.
Now, since Llorente’s contract is about to expire at Athletic Bilbao, he will be leaving for free during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Recently the Spanish striker revealed where he wants to play in the future and he has stated that the English Premier League is the place he wants to be in the future.
There is no doubt that Fernando Llorente is a player who has the physical ability and strength to play in a strong league like the English Premier League.
Moreover, there are a number of elite Premier League clubs who will easily benefit from his services.
Currently, clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea are without a good goal-scoring centre-forward.
While the North London-based club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 and Olivier Giroud, adding Fernando Llorente to the list is definitely going to help them in their cause.
On the other hand, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707.
The Spanish striker, Torres, has not been performing up to the mark for the past few seasons and the Blues should realize the fact that their 50 million Euros have gone wasted and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Llorente-c13671 can be one of the players who can replace him in the centre-forward position at the Stamford Bridge.
Llorente’s future at the Basque club is more or less already over and a Premier League club should be monitoring his current position in order to lure him during the summer transfer window.
