The Mallorca midfielder believes Joaquin Caparros’ men are outsiders for qualifying for the next edition of UEFA Europa League.
For their next La Liga outing, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RCD-Mallorca-c40326 travel to Madrid to test their wits against Luis Garcia Plaza’s Getafe. The Iberostar-based outfit are a meagre five points adrift of qualifying for UEFA Europa League and their fixture against the Capital outfit
will have a bearing on achieving their ambitions.
Out of the remaining four matches, Mallorca have the fortune of playing two home games to make the most of their chances, but take on Real Madrid in their final match of the 2011/12 La Liga season.
Reflecting on the situation, Sampdoria’s loanee, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Tissone-c13705, claimed that the players know what is asked of them and will do their best to avoid mishaps.
He added that they have already achieved their major objective of staving off relegation, and should look forward for a better future.
Given the precarious stage of the season, Tissone revealed that the players are calm and composed, and believes that their every outing now is a bonus for them.
"The games that are coming are a bonus, we can play with tranquillity but also with utmost responsibility. We will be going for a stroll.”
When quizzed about Mallorca’s UEFA Europa League qualification chances, the Argentinean played down the scenario and commented that there are teams who have a better claim than Los Bermellones.
Despite the close proximity, he explained that the Majorca-based outfit are 12th in La Liga and have a stiff task of overcoming their fellow Spanish outfits to earn qualification.
"But the possibility is remote because there are many teams involved; teams who aspire for the Champions League and who must fight for a spot in the Europa League; teams have to be in Europe and who have more experience in fighting for these goals."
However, Mallorca’s chances of success against Getafe look good as their rivals struggle from injury concerns. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pedro-c29582 Leon look unlikely to take the pitch for their Saturday night encounter after failing to return to full fitness
ahead of the league matchup.
