Even though Torres was not happy with the way he was left out of the starting line-up for the Champions League final against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, the Spaniard held talks with the club and is now determined to help them go forward when the
next season kicks off.

Torres revealed while speaking to reporters:
“I fulfilled a dream (by winning the Champions League against Bayern Munich at the weekend) and I'd say it's a very happy moment but I demand more.
The best is yet to come. Now we have to keep dreaming.”
According to Torres, he was confused as to why the managers (past and present) did not play him alongside Drogba. It is true, both Andre Villas-Boas and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo preferred either Drogba or Torres in attack, choosing not to play them together.
He said:
“I want to play with the best and he (Drogba) is one of the best. I do not understand why it has to be one or the other and not both.”
The 28-year-old believed Didier Drogba was one of the best players in the world and it had been an honour for him to play alongside him. However, with his departure, Torres will be given a more central role in Chelsea’s attack depending on their summer signings.
Torres revealed he had been in talks with the club and had sorted out the problems he had in the past. He said he was now looking forward to next season and fulfil everyone’s expectations of him.
Torres continued:
“My goal was to talk to them at the end of the season, I needed to know what plans they had for me.
We've talked and now I have no doubt what they expect of Fernando Torres. I just want to start next season already.”
