Torres has said that he had made up his mind to leave Liverpool as soon as he had heard that Chelsea would be making a bid for his services. This hasn’t gone down well with most fans, some of whom went so far as to burn replica shirts bearing the striker’s
name. A few Liverpool players have defender Torres’ move to Stamford Bridge. Daniel Agger is not one of them.

didn’t seem sorry for his act, saying, “Football is a contact sport.”
Agger isn’t too worried about the prospect of life without Fernando Torres. Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll signed for Liverpool in the final days of the January transfer window, with a combined transfer fee of more than £57 million. The new arrivals at Anfield
are more than capable of filling the void left by the Spaniard.
Liverpool are currently in sixth place in the Barclays English Premier League table.
