Fernhill Fury to pass stern test in Crayford Bookmakers Stakes
P. Tompsett’s 2-year-old, Fernhill Fury, becomes invincible when getting a clear passage. The white and fawn dog is in good shape, and can easily topple his rivals in the Crayford Bookmakers Stakes, being held at Crayford on Saturday, September 08, 2012.
The son of Swords Prince faced a couple of unlucky defeats last month. However, he did not let his confidence go down, and came up with a solid effort last time around. He started off this month with a huge bang.
In a 540 metres race, the dashing hound led the proceedings all the way through, and eventually clinched the victory by three quarters of a length. After stepping out of the sixth trap, he took only 33.80 seconds to wrap up the affair.
The hound is due to start from the same trap, and will be pumped up with high confidence. His latest effort was solid enough to believe that he can produce more good results.
A pack of five dangerous hounds will try to stop him from making an impression. Their names are: Airforce Vegas, Clonlost Snoopy, Tain Flip, Lusha Beauty and Swift Adriano.
The 540 metres flat race is scheduled to get started at 20:34 GMT. The winning hound will get £150 at end of the event.
Lusha Beauty failed to convince when last seen over six bends. The blue hound is performing consistently over 380 metres, but it will be a different ball game altogether.
Swift Adriano will have to do things the hard as usual. Clonlost Snoopy continues to run well without much success. The white and black dog needs plenty of luck to thrive today.
Airforce Vegas is an unexposed type, and should settle into new surroundings. The black dog recently ran very well in the trials, and looks solid to carry forward the momentum. Tain Flip was quite disappointing on his last visit. He is in better shape, but
a win is not on the cards.
No hound looks good to outclass Fernhill Fury, who is full of spirit following a recent strike. A flawless performance on his part is required though. Good luck to all the hounds.
