Fernhill Jess likely to dominate the May Dash Dup
Fernhill Jess is expected to dominate proceedings in the May Dash Dup at Henlow in England on Thursday, May 17, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be awarded a cash prize of £150.
Speed will be important in the 277 metres flat race, which is scheduled to start at 19:45 GMT. A total of six quality hounds will be seen in action and their names are as follows: Fernhill Jess, Forest Breeze, Cloncunny Max, Knights Pride, Hovex Jaz and
Miracle Man.
Looking at the recent form of all hounds, the bookmakers have decided to favour Fernhill Jess, who has been delivering some spectacular results over the past few months. She will definitely attract a lot of bets from the punters as well.
The D. Allen’s trainee has managed to win thrice out of her previous five outings. She has got remarkable speed and it will be difficult for her rivals to stop her from winning the race at Henlow.
Just like today, Fernhill Jess was given pretty decent odds for winning her previous race as well. She did not disappoint the bookies at all and stormed to a comprehensive victory by almost six lengths. She had given almost a similar performance in another
race prior to that, which shows the kind of form she is in at the moment.
Today’s favourite b***h will be chasing a hat-trick of victories at Henlow. She is the daughter of Daves Mentor out of Apache Chief and was born in May 2009.
On the other hand Forest Breeze might manage to cause a few problems for his rivals in the race. He has done a couple of solo runs recently and managed to set decent times in them. However, things will be different altogether, when it comes to racing in
this class.
The H. Dimmock’s trainee is not carrying very good momentum at the moment, as he finished sixth in his most recent Grade OR outing. He was given pretty decent odds back then, but failed to deliver a solid result. He will need to be at his absolute best in
order to prevail at Henlow.
Forest Breeze is the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Forest Angel and was born in January 2009.
