Ferrari driver Felipe Massa predicts good Hungarian Grand Prix for fans – Formula 1 news
Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has predicted a good upcoming 2011 Hungarian Grand Prix for his fans which will start from July 29, 2011 at the Hungaroring race circuit.
Massa talked to the media and said that he is expecting a better outing at the Hungaroring racetrack this weekend and that he is looking forward to another positive race.
The Brazilian said, “On current form, we can be optimistic of having another positive weekend. We will again have the Pirelli soft and supersoft tyres, which we know suits our car best, and in Hungary the hot temperatures will also be on our side.”
Massa went on to mention, “The Hungaroring race has sometimes been a bit processional; this year for sure there will be more overtaking. We continue to fight on a race by race basis, with the aim of winning as many as possible between now and the finale
in Brazil, so I think the crowd can expect a good show.”
The Maranello-based outfit driver had a great time in the recently held German Grand Prix, where he completed his Free Practice session and qualifying round on the grid in a positive manner.
Massa started his race from the fifth place on the grid and finished at the same position after struggling on both the medium and soft compounds at the Nürburgring race circuit.
After a positive race weekend in Germany, the Ferrari driver is expecting another good grand prix for the Hungarian fans.
Apart from that, the 30-year-old driver is planning to visit the Budapest circuit and hospital staff, who aided him when he suffered from the injuries during the qualifying round of the 2009 Hungarian GP.
Massa stated that his recovery from injuries after a horrific accident in 2009 was like a victory for him. In addition, he said that the Hungarian people will forever be an important part of his personal history, as they were very supportive for him when
he was critically injured.
Let’s see how Ferrari perform in Hungary this weekend following a positive race weekend in Nürburgring.
