Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has said that he is very excited about the last two rounds of the 2011 Formula 1 season, which will be held in Abu Dhabi and Brazil respectively.
Alonso added that he wants to finish his season at the second position for the team. However, he is ready to face the challenge in the last two races especially in Brazil.
The Spaniard talked to the media and stated that they can finish the season in the second position, as they are very strong for the next couple of races at the moment.
He also mentioned that he will take part in the next two races and will fight for a win if he can.
Talking to reporters, Alonso commented, “I will probably remember the win in Silverstone and a couple of nice starts and a couple of nice races, but the position of the Championship, once you are no longer in the hunt for the World Championship win, the
other positions are less relevant.”
He went on to say, “Congratulations to the team for second. It's sad always to say congratulations for second but it does make a big difference to the team, moving into the new season. I think when you've won a World Championship, nothing else will do really
except for first place.”

The Maranello-based outfit driver, Alonso started the Indian Grand Prix from the third place on the grid. After putting all of his efforts and battling it out with his rivals Alonso finished his Grand Prix on the last stair of the podium with a gap of 24.3
seconds behind the race winner Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel.
