Ferrari focus improvements in the 2012 Formula 1 season ahead – Formula 1 news
Ferrari team principal, Stefano Domenicali has said that they are focussing to keep on making the necessary improvements in their car throughout the 2012 Formula 1 season ahead.
Domenicali said that they suffered during the pre-season testing programme this year and anticipated to face difficulties during the first few races of the current season. Moreover, it will be important to note that the technical director of Ferrari, Pat
Fry ruled out the probability of a podium finish in the first race.
Nonetheless, their driver, Fernando Alonso has tremendously restricted the expected damage for the Scarlet team and is presently leading the drivers’ championship with 154 points ahead of Red Bull Racing drivers, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel. Additionally,

“As usual, Montezemolo was very clear: feet on the ground and work, work, work. After Budapest, we come up to two very tough races in shape of Spa and Monza, where we must show that we are competitive on fast tracks too. The performance of F2012 has improved
since start of season but until we have quickest car on track, we cannot claim to be happy. There is still long road ahead of us, with plenty of obstacles along way. The first and currently the most dangerous one is to catch this sense of euphoria that comes
from the outside,” he said.
