to be honest even though i a lamborghini fan its the ferrari, lamborghinis tend to make a low rumble sound like a deep note on a tuba.

ferrari's have the high pitch sound because of the whine of the turbo's can be heard over the engine sound.

If you say lamborghini, you're wrong. The highest revving ferrari is the Ferrari F2008 F1 car that has a 19,000 RPM redline. The best a Lamborghini could do is 8,500 RPM

it depends as they both have different sounds.

Ferrari's have more of a high revving engine whereas Lamborghini's emit a bellow due to their type.

Ferrari's can be heard at a higher pitch inside the car than out

the differing position of the crankshaft alters the sound of the Ferrari and thus giving it a high pitch rather than low v8 rumble.    

Lamborghini's well, the engine changes from a growl to a high-pitched whine when they're PEAKING :D heheh.
