Ferrari reject claims that they ran manually-adjusted ride-height – Formula 1 news
Ferrari has rejected all the claims of their rival, Red Bull Racing that they have been using manually-adjusted ride-height after a technical issue was raised during the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Red Bull were criticised during the preceding race as it was reported that they are using some engine specifications which are not in accordance with the rules. However, they totally discharged all the contradictions and said that their creativity has always
been alleged.
Helmut Marko, the motorsport advisor of the defending champions has recently said that they have never intentionally used anything which is against the regulations and asserted that the Scarlet team had run the car’s setup which didn’t involve the use of
any tools.
"We have never adjusted anything by hand. I don't know why the others are upset – we know Ferrari has used something like that for a year." Marko told
Auto Motor Und Sport.
On the other hand, a spokesperson from Ferrari completely dismissed the comments of Marko and said that they don’t understand why the Milton Keynes based team are targeting them.
In addition, he said that they have full faith in their team’s operations. He also expressed that if there will be anything wrong with their setup, FIA is vigilant enough to take the necessary action which they will obviously respect.
"This is completely untrue," a spokesman of Ferrari said in reference to Marko's remarks. "Did they really accuse us of cheating? Are you sure? Anyway, we have all the confidence in the FIA's role to make sure all the regulations are fully respected."
Even though, Red Bull are leading the constructors’ championship with a strong lead. However, their pair of drivers, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel is way behind the current leader in the drivers’ standing, Fernando Alonso of Ferrari.
Nonetheless, both the contenders are making the best of the efforts to maintain their leads in the respective battles and are aiming to fight for the championship title this year.
Over and above, it will be immensely exciting to see the tussle of the Italian and the British team in the forthcoming races after the summer smash.
