Ferrari is one of the biggest and most well known brands in the world, and just the name of Ferrari is something almost everyone in the world is aware of regardless of the fact that if they are in to the sport of formula one or not. The owners have made sure that they continue to spread the brand all across the world and engage their fans in different ways.
The latest initiative is to open a Ferrari theme Park, which is set to be officially opened in October this year, 3 weeks prior to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Ferrari world Abu Dhabi in celebration introduced one of the most intriguing attractions from the park, world fastest Roller coaster known as “Formula Rossa” the ride is believed to be able to reach max speed of 20 km per hour.
The 2 Ferrari Drivers 2006 world champions Fernand Alonso and the Brazilian Felipe Massa who suffered a life threatening injury last season in Hungry, were both present at the unveiling, alongside the Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali.
On 28th of October this year world would witness a theme park one of its kind set to set Abu Dhabi ablaze with a massive launch, the park will include 20 rides and various other attractions, Yas Island will be the venue for the mega event.
The Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona this Sunday will be the first time Fernando Alonso races on his home soil in the red of Ferrari, Barcelona's Circuit which is called de Catalunya believed to one of more than any other track on the Formula One calendar that rewards the driver who does best in qualifying.
In the previous 9 races, and 15 of the 19 since 1991, drivers who have taken pole in qualifying have also taken the top podium place in Barcelona, which is not good news for the ones expecting more of the thrills which were on show served at the season-opener in Bahrain in March.

There has not been a Ferrari driver at the top of the grid in Spain since 2008, where as Red Bull has been a dominating force in qualifying this season with 4 out of 4 wins this season. While nobody has won from pole so far this year, Barcelona could change that.
