Ferrari to still face more 'hard part' and 'some pain' says Fernando Alonso

The Ferrari driver, Fernando Alonso believes that he needs to take a lot more pain before the 2010 season ends. Having bagged two back to back victories does not ease the situation for him, rather it invites him for more hard work.
The Spaniard has made a terrific come back to the title battle after a laid back mid season. He won three out of the last five rounds which has elevated him from fifth place in the Drivers’ Championship to second. Currently,
he has 191 points while the charts’ leader, Mark Webber has a total of 202 points under his belt.
Alonso admits that the difference of 11 points would not have been a tough target if the war was only between him and Webber. But the situation is different now as it is not a battle between the top two, like any other usual
Formula One season, rather there are five drivers, equally competent and determined, ready to backlash any one who comes in their way.
With only four more races to go, Alonso reckons that the last victories haven't made things easier for him or his team. Instead, they have invited them to begin a new struggle.
The last race held in Singapore gave a brilliant victory to the driver as he flawlessly drove to lead the rally of the cars all through the event. While the preceding race in Italy gave yet another great weekend to the team. This home race provided a chance
to their hundreds of thousands of fans to celebrate as Alonso stood at the top of the podium.
Now, as the Formula One caravan heads for its sixteenth round in Japan this weekend, Alonso urges his team to work harder than the entire season. They not only have to beat Webber to reach the apex of tally but also need to keep the other three drivers,
Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button of McLaren, while Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel behind them.
As Alonso now heads for the Suzuka track, he talked to the media proclaiming his fears as well as aspirations for the upcoming race. He said that the war has now taken the most critical form. He believes that Ferrari would still have to go through an immense
"hard part" and "some pain." Moreover, he warned his team that this crucial situation does not allow any mistakes and even a single one, no matter how small, could turn fatal for their hopes.
Alonso is really burning oil at nights for his third world championship title. While talking about his preparations for the upcoming brutal races, he said, "I have kept in touch with the team all the time and I know that in Maranello, everyone is delighted
with last Sunday's win. That's how it should be and I'm happy too, even if I know the hard part is still ahead of us,"
He further expressed on his official website, “These two consecutive wins have reduced the gap that had built up but we are definitely not leading yet! Now it starts getting serious, we will have to experience some pain and it is time for everyone to give
their all, without taking a single backward step.”
This year has unwrapped in an uncertain way and the probabilities of victory have changed so dramatically a number of times all through the season. Now as the cars head for their next destination, the drivers as well as the race fans have kept their fingers
crossed anticipating yet another race filled with awe and thrill this Sunday at Suzuka.
