Ferret nation parts?

I have the Ferret Nation cages 141 and 142, but when I got my fuzzies and there cage I did not recieve the Pans for either cage. I contacted my local pet stores and they cannot / will not order some in for me. Becasue we are in Canada apparently shipping is horrific and takes far too long.

So I called Mid West and they said they could sell me one for over $60 USD, without shipping.

Then I was ready on yahoo and found www.ferret.com. I love it. Only problem is the part is $21.99 and shipping is $45.45, and I have to have it shipped fed-ex.

Is there anywhere I can get it in Canada or anywhere where the shipping does not cost more then the parts. I would rather it go via priority post, or DHL (Loomis).

Please help. I have two great fuzzies I just want a bottom for the cage because it is hard on their feet. I just use bankets in the 142 cage and they sleep up there, and play, but the bottom has thier litter so I do not want to be laying blankets. Please help.

Have you thought of putting cardboard over the bars as a temporary solution? Then putting the blankets on top of that? It's better to use fleece blankets as bedding in the FN cages, anyway, because the pans are shallow and bedding tends to get all over.

You contacted MidWest and they were going to charge you? Did the pans just not come in the box? I'd think they would send it to you for free.
