Question

I want personal experience from someone who has had a ferret. Such as where did you get them, what kind of ferret? (Marshall's, private breeder, shelter, etc.), did they have any diseases? How did they die? How old were they when they died?

My daughter just got one a week ago. It is a Marshall Ferret. It sleeps alot but when he is up he loves to play. He is kinda like a cat. I hard they live 6 to 8 years.

I had 2 ferrets, female and male. They both cam spayed and neutered. They were Marshall ferrets and I got them froma  local pet store. After 2 years the male died from jaw cancer, and after 3 years the female died of a tumor. They died young, but they still lived happy lives. I loved them and they are amazing pets :)

I caught a wild ferret, I don't think it had diseases (I hope not -- it bit me).  It died when I killed it.

ferrets are cool, i never owned one but i had to take care of one in school when i was little. you gotta clean a ferrets cage a lot because it stinks. they like attention to. well thats all i remember about a ferret
