I have two baby ferrets 9 weeks, at the moment and i am looking for some advice on teaching them not to bite at a young age. I understand that ferrets do use their mouths to try everything and i don't mind being teethed on but sometimes they really try to chomp down hard. I've read in books to flick their nose or scruff them and give a firm 'NO' but the scruffing doesn't work and I don't like the idea of flicking them on the nose, if there is a better way around it. Thanks for your help :)P.S I realise that I have put this question into rodents and ferrets aren't rodents but its the closest section to small furry animals there is.
