  1. i have 3 ferrets at home i have indoor cage with a play pen built around it and at my girlfriends house they live ina  big hutch wit the run under neath do you keep your ferrets together in the two small hutches together that wouldn't be so bad as long as you et them out i get my ferret out at least twice a day for an hour at a time and when they go back in cage they sleep i never no a ferret t chew wires or anything look on the net about ferret proofing and all that mainly you gotta no they can get up high places no probs and second make sure you have a noise or they no there names big help to call them

as for cheap stuff www.gumtree.co.uk have some great deals its just people selling them and sometimes you might find them free on there and www.preloved.co.uk same thing

    hope it helps

  2. If your circumstances allow you could ferret-proof your house and let them free for an hour or two a day. They'll love it, and you'll love the entertainment they give you.

BTW: Consider letting them share one large hutch/cage. They're communal animals, will soon sort out their social order and will be happier together than they are apart.

  3. plastic piping oone person at one end a other person at other end and let them run through pipes they love it

  4. I dont know whether this will help you, but i am buying and then converting an avairy into an outdoor enclosure for my fuzzy's.

There will be a hutch like system towards the back so they can get out of the weather and the front area will have tunnels and other toys.

Ive been looking around and ebay is good for getting a 2nd hand one or petlink for cheap. It actually works out cheaper then building one.

Or you could add to what you have, making the runs btwn the hutches (if i am oicturing it right) one big area in which you can add tubes and dig boxes, etc

  5. Hi,

I had the same problem with my rabbits.

Try gumtree, it's a good website for second hand and you can find real bargains, I picked up a cheap run from someone in my area.

Or you could join your local freecycle community, there are always people giving away pet stuff.

  6. I have 2 male ferrets, living inside, but I felt sorry for them , so I ferret proofed my garden and they now have free run, they ask to go out and LOL ask to come back in, when they have had enough, I was lucky though because prior to the ferrets I kept rabbits so it was half proofed and I also let my rats outside as well, the only problem i can't resolve is them keeping them out of my pond, I also got an old car tyre I filled it with sand they love it it keeps them out of the plantpots, one boy did manage to get up a tree, i just lopped off the lower branch he used, hard work to do it and check for any escape gaps but well worth it....cost me £4.00 for cement to fill a couple of gaps.....
