Ferrets?!?!?

Question

I want a pet ferret...What do things do they need and how much are they?Also can you give me some tips on how to take care of them or if you can give me your email so we can chat and you can tell me about them...THANKS =]

ferrets love to get socks and stuff and hide stuff.

they have a distinct smell.

they can fit through small holes its like they have no spine.

be sure not to have holes in walls of ur house.

ferrets like tubes so buy them some stuff to play in.watch out when they get happy they jump alllll over the place

what the basic stuff i payed the first day i got her.

my ferret was $150

her cage was $250

bedding was $80

litterbox was $10

litter was $16

scoop was $4

food was $17

harness+leash was $10

collar was $5

they kinda stink to me they really stick to other people

they require lots of attention. they p**p constantly but they are great pets ive had almost every small animal you can name and the ferret is one of the most exspensive they have the behaivor of a cat/dog mixed. i love my ferret and im getting ready to have another

i love my ferrets

PROS:

these are the pros of ferrets.

they're very active and loving. they LOVEEE to play with you and will never be mad if you wake them up. once they get used to you--which didn't take long for me--they give kisses, just like dogs. sometimes i have to pull mine away from me!

CONS:

ferrets smell BAD. they have the same stink glands as skunks and sugar gliders. you need to clean their littler box every other day, at least. and they need baths, too, every week. and when they get out, mine always come back when they're done playing around, but they can get out easily because they're very flexible and can get very small.

CAGE:

they need a huge cage (tall) with little ramps and shelves to climb up on. and a hammock hanging frmo the top to sleep in. they also need a litter box, and, obviously, food and water.

where im from ferrets range anywhere from 50-100 dollars. a cage can be 50- 70 dollars, and food can be about 40 dollars a month. this all depends where you are. ferrets are great pets, but unless you stay at home all day, i would get two, and a big cage. ferrets rock. hope i helped
