Ferries from uk to ireland. anyone suggest best port to take when travelling from london to cork ireland?

im heavily preg so the closest port would be appreciated any info appreciated

The Swansea Cork Ferries has cancelled its 2007 sailings so the nearest ferry would be from Fishguard to Rosslare in County Wexford, which is about a two and a half hour journey to Cork.  The normal ferry crossing takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes but the Stena Express crossing time is approx. 120 mins.  You might think of upgrading your ticket also for faster boarding and unboarding.
