  1. you can get good deals for around £35 with sea france. Otherwise the channel tunnel has good offers and it is quicker (35 mins in comparison to 90 mins by ferry) Look on the websites for channel crossings or ask on www.lonelyplanet.com

  2. Sorry, can't answer your question precisely, but go on to the website for P and O ferries.  I always went as a foot passenger and it was incredibly cheap - £5 return, I think.

  3. To be honest crossing via the tunnel tends to be the most expensive option with a car, especially last minute like this (at least in my expereience of trawling through all the websites to get the best offer)

I do this trip a lot (although from France to the UK) and it tends to be a toss-up between Seafrance and Norfolklines, with usually not much between them.

In the last couple of years there have been a lot of sites cropping up promising cheap prices.  Not having used them I would be cautious, but sites that check the prices over all the different providers are useful to give you the best price (and then you can go directly to provider yourself to ensure the booking is ok)

Looking at http://www.aferry.co.uk/faresearch/resul... the comparison for the dates you mention are as follows:

    SeaFrance @ £89.00

    Norfolkline @ £104.00

    Eurotunnel @ £207.00

Therefore I would go to the Seafrance site and book this http://www.seafrance.com/seafrance/openc...

  4. ferry.co.uk is the cheapest - often cheaper to book outward and rerutn seperately as well (well it works that way for a m/c)

  5. i allways find P&O the cheapest go for a night crossing.i dont think you can get cheaper than the P&O website

  6. Speedferries.com

Give these a try. They are the cheapest by far at the Dover Calais route. The others have had to drop their prices because of Speedferries after unsuccesfully trying to make them go out of business. You should get it for about £70
