Ferris Bueller's Day Off vs The Karate Kid?

Which movie is better? Why?

Ferris Bueller's Day Off!!

Reason being that although The Karate Kid was/is a great movie, not everyone can relate to it (being that its about a young kid and his discovery of the martial arts and adulthood..etc)

Bueller's Day Off covers it all...anyone can find one character in the movie to relate to and its just plain funny as h**l!!! its more widely representative of a generation than K-Kid is....

Although, who in the world doesn't know, " wax on - wax off"...

Ferris Bueller of course! The acting is way better and that's only one reason.

This is a tough call.  I would have to say for me personally, I like the Karate Kid better.  It was such a hugely influential movie as far as getting kids from all over the country into Karate.  I myself studied Kyokushin Karate for over 10 years so being a fan of Karate I would have to say I liked Karate Kid better.  Now on a bigger scale, I believe that Ferris Buellers day off was the "better" movie.  Its a movie more people can relate to and enjoy.  I think that a lot more people liked FBDO then did KK.
