  1. Although Ferrets are Carnivores they do enjoy a bit of melon (I have read) now and again which is also perfect for keeping them cool during the summer. The best thign to feed your ferrets is a dry ferret kibble mix and the BARF Bones and Raw Food Diet which consists of raw meat to reduce the chances of problems with their adreanal glands when they are older, they love a raw egg now and again too

  2. I hear ferrits make gangs when there are large ammounts in one area, then they have gang wars with eachother. THAT IS SO AWESOME!!!!

  3. Ferrets are Obligate Carnivores so no fruit or veggies!  They should eat a high protein and lo carb ferret kibble and you can offer raw or cooked chicken, rabbit etc with no seasonings.  Sugar (in fruit or sweets) leads to health issues like Insulinoma.

  4. Treats should be only meat based as they are obligate carnivores and cannot properly digest plant matter like fruits and veggies. Try some cooked meat or meat based ferret treats.

  5. meat. look at those teeth and they'll tell you... meat!  they like chicken or mutton better than beef usually.  just chop it up (better to mince it) and they'll love it.  don't feed them cat food... i've heard its bad for them

  6. Yeah. They like meat.Chicken, pork, beef and so on are OK.

Two days before, i saw there is an artical about ferrets in  a virtual commnity that is "http://gothicmingle.com".I think you should have a look at it.
