Ferry service from Portarlington to Melbourne. What do you think? Would you use? What price for tickets?

A safe harbour development is being planned for Portarlington. This development will include provision for a future ferry service across Port Philip Bay into Melbournes' Station Pier. Estimated 40 min trip one way. Do you commute to Melbourne from the Bellarine? Would you use the ferry? Would you like to see a ferry service which could get you off the road and across to Melbourne and then only a 2 minute walk to light rail system? Interested in hearing your feedback. I live on the Bellarine and would love to have a ferry to Melbourne and return.
