Hi! My fiance and I are going on vacation to harwich next week. We wanted to go to p town for the day but we couldn't seem to find any ferries on the cape that go there. If anyone knows anything about this, any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. There are none.  There are only boats and catamarans (no ferry) from Boston.  Just drive it.  Or, if you are looking for a romantic boat, go to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard (from Hyannisport) instead.

  2. Depending on where you are staying in the Cape you should just drive to Provincetown. I did last time when I stayed in Hyannis and it was about a 45 minute drive, not too bad and there was amazing scenery. I don't think there is a ferry. Thery have ferry's to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, but Provincetown isn't an island, so I wouldnt think that they would.

  3. There are no ferries on the Cape to other parts of the Cape. The only ferries are out of Woods Hole (in the Town of Falmouth) and Hyannis (in the Town of Barnstable) that go to the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

However... it is only a 30 minute drive from Harwich to Provincetown. There are great historical sites, local artisans, and a cool shopping district in P-town, in addition to whale watches and great food.
