Question:

Fertility Friend or iVillage?

Which one of these is the better charting site? Why? I was using ff, but I was getting annoyed with the constant taunting. "You could have <insert desirable function here> if you upgrade to a VIP membership!" I'm not going to pay money for that.

I've heard of iVillage, but is it better?

  1. Fertility Friend is also free. You need not have to go with VIP membership, just ignore that and go with regular charting. FF always showed exact ovulation day for me all the time.

  2. I pay for VIP Fertility Friend membership, the VIP options are great! It analyzes patterns, and overall gives you more control over your cycle.

I like to think of it as my own little science lab. The options are almost endless with Fertility Friend. I tried the 30 day which is really good value and now I pay every 3 months. If you conceive during you get transferred to the pregnancy calender and that's really nice to use too. I tried iVillage before I found out about FF and I generally found it too generic, I'll never stray from FF. If it wasn't for tracking the little details and FF automatically changing my ovulation date according to my temps, I wouldn't have conceived my little girl. Even the free version is better than iVillage.

  3. I used fertilityfriend.com for a few months and gave up. I just didn't find it user friendly and I hated the pressure to upgrade. However, most gals on yahoo seem to prefer this site. I just don't.

I now use ivillage (for 3 months now) and am much happier. I find it a lot more user friendly and has all the same great features but for no charge. The message boards are also really great. :-)
