Hi, The Festival de Patios (what) takes place in the city of Cordoba(where) and lasts a couple of weeks yet the participants prepeare their patios (usually interior courtyard and also exterior courtyards) during the whole year. It is a festival were everyone (who) that has a patio (courtyard) can participate jus by registering or subscribing their patio (how) , and the objective (why) is to decorate your own patio with flowers, plants and gardens so that at the end of the festival a panel of judges declare the best patios of the year and a price is given for the paticipants/owner and citizens of Cordoba it is specially relevant because the creating the most beautifull patio is the best reward and a matter of pride . The Patio Festival in Cordoba is in Spring (when) and this year 2007 it starts the 2 of May  and lasts untill the 13 of May . The patio festival map is available below, divided into 3 main itineraries (rutas).
