Carving off the breast, or darker meat from the bone ???

  10. Go for the leg, it's juicier with the breast making good sandwich meat.  What is way cool is deep-fried turkey wings w/ BBQ sauce (served like chicken wings)...can't beat that, it's so awesome!  Try it!

  11. I prefer the darker meat from the leg - moister and more flavorful.

  12. People always assume that the white breast turkey meat is the best but actually poor roasting can leave the breast dry and stringy. The legs have more connective tissues which allows the meat to be moist, but people do have difficulty in carving it. Correct cooking times, regular basting and a mixture of white and dark meat will give an overall balanced taste and texture.

  14. Hello? you are living in the UK? it isnt for at least 3 months where I come from in Manchester! I didnt know there was that much of a time difference in the UK!!

    Festive season is December for God's sake!

  15. Don't know about turkeys, but stuff the festive season 'till Dec 20th, that's early enough for me.  lol
