  1. you can always find out

  2. Did you enter an Aus lotto? You usually have to enter lottos in order to win. If the answer is no, then the answer to your question is no. It is a scam.

  3. nope it is a scam

  4. Highly doubtful.  If you are a US citizen, it is illegal for you to win foreign lotteries.

If they send you money via a certified check and want you to send back any of it by a more secure route (i.e. wire transfer, western union) it is fraud.  The check is fake and it will bounce, and you will be out whatever they send you.

If in doubt, print out the email/take the letter into the bank.

  5. was it a phone call, or a text message?

  6. Not true not true not true. I work at a internet security company and our most popular product is our spam firewall. I work in technical support so I deal with this unit primarly. I can not tell you how much of spam has to do with "You won". You did  not win any money, don't give your information. It's SPAM!

  7. It be on teh internets so it has to be true.

    Please don't procreate.

  8. Sure it is, just give me $25,000.00 and your bank account number and I will deposit it directly into your account.

Ofcourse it is NOT true. This is most likely an attempt to obtian your personal info so he can steal your identity.

    Dont even respond to it!

  9. Its a SCAM...

Think about it.. If you won a Lottery... Anywhere in the WORLD..... Don't you think they would fly you out there so, they can have you on TV and whatever else...

Think about it.. Here in the US.. If anyone wins anything even near a million.. Its all over the newspapers and TV...

There probley going to try and steal your identity or after you fill out Payment Processing.. There going to say please send us (about) $5,000 for the taxes and processing fees...

So, I wouldn't do anything but, just ignore them.. Or write back and say.. Send me the money and I'll send you the info back once I received it..

They will never answer you back.. and I would try and call you Internet provider and tell them about it...

Good luck with everything and let us know what happens...

    Jay
