i got a mail from guinness ,houghton street london,that i won 1500000 gbp in uk lott,and my winning amount is deposited,in nation wide bank plc,operation&remittance

manchester,uk,and they are sending their agent to give me my prize money,and i hav to give 250GBP,FOR CLEARANCE OF MY PARCEL,shold i belive them....please suggest

  1. Absolutely not.  It is a scam.  No one should ask for money to give you a prize. You would be buying an emptyparcel.  I get emails like that too.

    It sounds like a scam.  If you have to give money to release your prize money.  That's a scam.

    Report it to the police and they'll investigate it.

    If it's not a scam then the police can tell you it isn't.

  5. NO NO NO!!

    They are scammers. Watchdog on BBC 1 did a show on scum that rip of people with such scams. They target old people too and are not phased at who they hurt. If you did pay the fee to clear your parcel you would be approached for more money to 'clear' more admin fees etc. Please do not be sucked into this. Too many people have been ripped off by this. Contact your local police station to ask for advice as what they are doing is illegal.
