Few questions about routers?

1)Which company makes the best routers based on reliability and range...between netgear,belkin,linksys

p.s epically range because paneling on the walls really reduces range.

2)i know for a fact that u can turn the belkin n1 router into a access point, but can u do that with WRT310N by linksys?

1). Company name is the last criteria you should be looking for.

2). WIth the right firmware you can turn almost any router into an acces point, with some work eventually.

The Linksys model is a very good choice (you may have problems with signal strength in some areas but this happens to all modells out there). Another option would be D-Link Rangebooster DIR-655 or the Asus WL-500W.

1) From my personal experience, I'd put them in this order:

    Netgear

    Belkin

    Linksys

Netgear has been the most stable in my office.  I went through 2 LinkSys and 1 Belkin before landing on the NetGear.  The LinkSys came with too much garbage (filters, extra software) that it slowed down my speed.  The Belkin was Okay for awhile, but it didn't handle a business network to well.  The NetGear has been rock solid since installation.
