pastures greener come the end of the 2012/13 season.
Sagna, who has been plying his trade at Emirates Stadium since the summer of 2007, has recently expressed his desire of moving away from the club before the start of the 2013/14 season.
The Gunners management has been keen to prolong the Frenchman’s stay at Emirates Stadium by offering him a one-year extension to his ongoing deal that is set to expire in the summer of 2014. However, the former Auxerre stopper, who has thus far made well
over 150 appearances for Arsenal, has made up his mind of leaving the Premier League outfit for pastures greener.
After learning about the 30-year-old’s decision, the Arsenal management started to find a perfect replacement, and it has been reported that they have set their sights on acquiring the services of the Feyenoord defender in the upcoming summer transfer market.

football before moving abroad.
However, it might be a wise choice for the Dutch stopper to join the Gunners in the summer to flourish under the leadership of Wenger, who has a history of crafting raw talents into world class players.
