The Rotterdammers are looking to bolster their midfield options this summer to compete successfully in UEFA Champions League next term and see the 25-year-old as a perfect addition.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lex-Immers-c22181, has been staging scintillating shows at the centre of the park since the start of the ongoing 2011/12 season. Netting eight goals while setting up two more in 31 matches, the Dutchman
has been the most consistent player in the ADO squad.
The midfield ace’s consistent performances for the past couple of years have garnered him interest from a host of European clubs, with Feyenoord Rotterdam being the latest to express their interest in acquiring his services this
summer.
ADO owner, Mark van der Kallen, and commissioner, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Beyer Bergen, have reportedly conducted negotiations with the Rotterdammers technical director, Martin van Geel, regarding Immers’ potential move before the start of the 2012/13
Eredivisie season.
Van der Kallen has revealed that both parties concluded the conversation on a positive note. However, he has stressed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 must meet his side’s asking price if they want to lure the midfielder away from Kyocera Stadion
this summer.
“It was a pleasant conversation, but their evaluation and our demand over the transfer fee is still far apart”, the ADO owner was quoted as saying to the Dutch media.
Immers emerged from ADO’s youth ranks and started his professional career at Kyocera Stadion in the 2007/08 season. He has made rapid development since then, and has became one of the key players in the squad.
The gifted midfielder, who can also play in a No. 9 role, has thus far represented the outfit from Hague in 140 matches, netting 22 goals while bagging plenty of assists along the way. The Dutchman has an ongoing contract with
ADO that will keep him at Kyocera Stadion until the summer of 2014.
Despite the ADO management not expressing any interest in selling their prized asset this summer, they could very well be tempted to let go of the 25-year-old in the upcoming summer transfer window, should a good offer comes in.
