Reports from De Kuip Stadion confirm that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 Rotterdam are keen to offer Erwin Mulder an extension to his ongoing contract. The 22-year-old goalkeeper has a contract that is due to expire in the summer of 2013, and the club management wants to tie
him down on a long-term basis.
The young gloves man started his professional career at De Kuip Stadion in the 2006/07 season. However, he failed to make his official debut for the Rotterdammers until December 2007.

The 22-year-old was sent to SBV Excelsior on loan to gain first-team experience at the start of the 2008/09 season, where he made 36 appearances.
After his return to De Kuip Stadion, he sustained a muscular injury that sidelined him for four weeks, and then he had to be content with a role as a second-choice goalkeeper behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rob-van-Dijk-c31210.
However, since the start of the 2011/12 campaign, the young shot-stopper has remained the first-choice for the Rotterdammers, and he has done well between the sticks, claiming 8 clean-sheets in 25 appearances thus far.
Martin van Geel, the Rotterdammers technical director, has revealed that the club is looking to prolong Mulder’s stay at De Kuip Stadion.
“Few keepers of such a young age play at the highest level. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Erwin-Mulder-c12875 still needs to grow and can develop here. We'll see if he fulfils what we expect from him in the coming years”, Van Geel said while talking to journalists.
The technical director also revealed that his side is also looking to extend reserve goalkeeper Ronald Graafland’s contract that is due to expire in the summer of 2012.
“He comes from Capelle (near Rotterdam), he knows the club and it's a nice atmosphere. Moreover, he has the necessary qualities if we need to call on him”, Van Geel concluded.
The 32-year-old shot-stopper is yet to make his debut for the Rotterdam giants.
