Feyenoord want Miyaichi
The technical-director at Feyenoord, Martin Van Geel, has requested Arsenal to loan their young winger, Ryo Miyaichi, for another season to the Dutch club.
Miyaichi joined Feyenoord on loan from Arsenal in January 2011 and has had a wonderful time at the Feijenoord Stadion. The Japanese star scored 3 goals and contributed with 4 assists in 12 appearances for the Rotterdam-based club.
The 18-year-old bamboozled the Eredivisie defenders with his box of tricks and earned himself comparisons with the Brazilian legend, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldinho-c31733.
Van Geel revealed that they have contacted the Arsenal officials to permit them to keep the youngster for one more season. However, it is highly unlikely that the player would stay in Holland as Arsene Wenger would want him in his plans for the next season.
"We would http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Love-c22466 to have him here on loan for a year. Arsenal know we are good for him. Now we can only wait for their answer."
Wenger is already believed to be applying for a work permit for the youngster after failing to secure it last season. However, the winger has represented his country in the U-19 competitions this season and it will help him to get it this time.
Real to sell Higuain
According to reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, Real Madrid President, Florentino Pérez, is willing to sell the striker, Gonzalo Higuain, in the summer transfer window.
Reports suggest that Real are alerted by the transfer demand of Atletico Madrid striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero, and they want to sell Higuain for 15 million Pounds to replace him with his Argentine teammate.
Higuain had a troublesome 2010/11 season and had to miss a major chunk of the campaign through injury. The Argentine international managed only 25 appearances in the season and finished with 13 goals.
Perez is not a huge admirer of the former River Plate striker and wants to replace him with any other world-class goal-scorer at Santiago Bernabeu.
Higuain joined Madrid from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/River-Plate-c40368 in 2007 and has scored 77 goals in 166 appearances for Los Blancos since then.
