Ff8 question: odins japanese characters?

Question

in final fantasy 8 after aquiring Odin, you see him showing his stuff

when he slashes at your enemy some japanese characters ? or chinese or whatever the characters may be flashes on the screen

anyone know the translation of the characters?

im gonna guess it says my blue heaven or something like that hahah

well not a serious question but just wondering

im using the PC thai version of ff8

I assume there are three symbols, and they are red in color. Is that correct?

If that's so, the symbols literally say "Chop Iron Sword" (斬鉄剣). However, I think it would translate to "Iron Sword Slash" instead.

By the way, it's Japanese kanji, not Chinese. One or two of the symbols don't exist in Chinese.
