Fiberglass or aluminum ??Boat

which one makes a better jon boat and why???

aluminium, cause if you're making a fiberglass boat you have more flexibility to create a better hull shape.

The idea of a jon boat is that you can move it easily, launch it easily, and carry it.  So with that in mind an aluminum boat would be better.

If you want a more stable and quieter boat then fiberglass is the way to go.

Aluminum, It's simply a matter of weight, and portability.  Two people can easily pick up a john boat, less motor and carry it to water.  Fiberglass is 4 or 5 times heavier at best.
