  1. if you like the Bourne identity and the other 2 films how about reading them, they're mostly by Robert Ludlum. goos suspense andaction and obviously he's a trained assassin.

  2. The first one that comes to mind is The Day of the Jackal by Frederick Forsyth. It is the classic assassin story.

There is also The Manchurian Candidate by Richard Condon.

Some others you may find interesting include:

    -The Godfather by Mario Puzo

    -The Eiger Sanction by Trevanian

-The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum

-Term Limits by Vince Flynn (or his first Mitch Rapp book: Transfer of Power)

    I hope this helps.

  3. Lawrence Block has a few novels about a hit man named KELLER.  The first is HIT MAN, and HIT AND RUN just came out earlier this year.

Robert Ludlum's Bourne books are great.  Start with THE BOURNE IDENTITY.

You might also like SHIBUMI by Trevanian, or THE DAY OF THE JACKAL by Frederick Forsyth.
