  1. A ficus is a beautiful plant/tree that does require light, but not direct

light, and will sometimes even adapt to dimmer conditions, as I have one that does beautifully on my porch, which receives no direct sun

at all. After it had gone through a transition period, it once again slowly but surely came back and has grown slowly, into a beautiful

tree. Just water it whenever the soil becomes dry, but do not let it

always be wet. Bright, indirect sun is best. A 7-8 ft one is beautiful

and will compliment your home, inside or outdoors. It can adapt to

either. If it looks as though it is losing leaves, don't panic, as sometimes they must go through what mine did. They revive quickly.

Good Luck and hope this helped!
