  1. I agree with n2, Raul will most likely take over, but Fidel will be pulling the strings from shadow,

  2. I saw that his brother is taking over. Lets hope he is the opposite.

  3. Depends on who succeeds him.  It very well could change nothing.

  4. Probably not much.  His brother and right hand man, Raul, is going to take over as president.  Fidel will likely remain chairman of the Cuban Communist Party.

  5. It is hard to depict any unforeseen changes, being that Raul will follow his brothers Fidel's reign and more then likely be unanimously voted in by the Cuban Parliament.

  6. Raul will take over and take some further steps towards Chinese-style "socialism". I think it's too-little, too-late for that.

Within a few years, investors from the US will be pouring big bux into Cuba - tourism, garment manufacturing, electronics assembly, the whole enchilada. We're gonna buy the place unless those Commies take a crash course in capitalism.

  7. he will still rule on the side-his brother will not make changes-if he does till Castro dies-and it still depends on if Hugo Chavez influence
