The 29-year-old Barbados speedster told media reporters on Sunday that his goal is to be the world’s fastest bowler.
"One of my aims is to be the fastest and regarded as the best fast bowler in the world,” said Edwrads while talking to the media reporters. “Hopefully, I'm not too far off that (goal) and it could be by the end of next year. That's my goal," the fast bowler

The Barbadian has had an injury free 2011-12 season and was happy for that. He said that owing to his good fitness, he had been doing a lot of strength work lately.
"I've been doing a lot of strength work lately and I've been holding up well,” said that right arm fast bowlers who plays for the Deccan Chargers in the lucrative Indian Premier League. “There are still a couple of things I need to work on with my action,
but hopefully you'll see me bowl faster,” he asserted.
