Promising Spanish youngster Fidel de la Torre is close to becoming a Benfica player according to Recreativo president Pablo Comas.

Benfica have now seemingly turned their attention to Recreativo’s Fidel de la Torre, who currently plys his trade in the Segunda division after his club’s relegation from the top tier of Spanish football.

A transfer looks set to go through but since the current campaign is still ongoing, the player will have to continue in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 until everything draws to a close, after which he will be able to make the switch to Estadio da Luz.
Recreativo president Pablo Comas also commented on the situation and revealed that the club’s prized asset was indeed on his way out and that only mere formalities were left to complete the deal.
Speaking to reporters, the official said that everything had been agreed with their Primeira Liga counterparts and only the signatures of the concerned parties were preventing the transfer from becoming legitimate.
“There is no problem. The verbal agreement is terminated and only the sign is missing,” the superemo was quoted as saying.
Although the transfer will be done and dusted shortly, the financial details have still not been revealed and the media have speculated that the player could cost the Eagles nearly €350,000.
However Fidel de la Torre will have to be at his best in order to pay back the investment and showcase his talents at the highest level.
