Field Hockey Conditioning?

ok so im trying out for my highschool fieldhockey team this year and there conditining starts on july 7. so what should i be ready for? should i start running now or just wait till conditioning???

  1. Start now and be prepared to lots of leg work if you want do lunges, wall sits, and bend down so your on your whole foot (your butt should be out and legs should be at a 90 degree angle) and hold it for two minutes. Try running with a field hockey stick and if your just standing around use your power hand (the hand that stays at the top) and just pull up and down with your wrist if your just just standing around.
