okay. so my sister joined field hockey. They have practices a few times a week. and every time the practice is from 9 AM to 4 PM. and today she had it, and felt very sick. the coach gave the girls one water brake in three hours. and these girls are only ages 14-17. my sister called my mom on their one brake and was complaining about how she felt sick and like she as gunna puke. she said she told her coach that she felt sick and the coach's reply was: "Throw up and keep playing". is there something wrong here?! i was wondering if their is any rules or bylaws stating how long a sports practice can be. i don't think this is fair! and they should have more drink brakes. this isnt practice, its torture!

please help me and tell me if this is legal.

thanks.

  1. as immoral and wrong as it may sound there are no laws as to the time a coach can keep his team training or how regularly he has to water them it is usually at the coaches discretion. if she needs a drink or feels sick she should just ask coach if she can sit down at the side for a few minutes to recover then get back in if he refuses just sit down anyway. if he kicks her off the team then no more 9-4 training
