Field hockey/ice hockey?

Question

It bothers me wicked bad when people that play ice hockey say field hockey isn't a sport. Or that ice hockey is so much better. I hate this because field hockey is so much more popular the ice in other parts of the world. And Field hockey has been around for so much longer then ice hockey.

Please tell me why you agree or disagree?

I agree Field Hockey is heaps better.  I'm from Australia, and we're not big on any of those ice-skating sports.  But we're known for being good at Field Hockey.  But then again maybe I'm just being biased.
