Field hockey questions about equiptment.. i've never played before?

i'm 15, going into sophomore year and i'm just starting field hockey. i've played ice hockey for 7 years and i'm good at it so i decided to try field hockey.

i already have a stick and shin pads. what other equiptment do i need? (also, can i use soccer cleats or is there a different type?)

You will also need goggles and a mouthguard. Yes, you can use soccer cleats - I am going to use them & this will be my first year, and I'm going into sophomore year as well! I wish you the best of luck! :)

P.S. It may also help going to a field hockey camp to get you well prepared - today was the first day of the 2nd field hockey clinic I've been to!
