Fields/Camping?

i just found out i have a field that came with my hous, me and my mates found it and discovered hat it is overgrown with weeds and plants so we copped them down and made a clear area, only thing is its sharp and you cant lie a tent on it, how do we get a soft grassy area (we have 2 weeks before a camping party) thanks ^^

  1. Take a bale of hay back there and spread it over the land and cover the weeds / plants with that.  ??
