Fierce contest expected in Belle Vue Midi
Belle Vue is likely to witness an exciting event on Thursday night, as the Belle Vue Midi will bring in a lot of drama.
The 590 metre long Grade Open Race (OR) is scheduled to kick off at 19:55 (GMT). In pursue of a cash prize of £150, six speedy hounds will step into field.
Among the entries are:
Skywalker Louie
Low Wood Gift
Droopys Berdych
Hes The Stig
Magna Fiddler
Droumeragh Frank
With such a talented line-up, it is very difficult to choose one definite favourite. However, a statistical analysis will help the punters stake their money carefully.
Skywalker Louie is looking in great form at the moment. The blue and white dog is still unbeaten in this calendar year, having won all of his last four races.
Top Honcho’s son out of Synone Starlight is stepping into the contest with four victories under his belt and thus, his confidence will be sky high.
In his last two races at Sheffield, E. Parker’s trainee displayed a dominating show, winning both competitions comprehensively. Since the dog is in winning momentum, he will be tough to beat.
Low Wood Gift is another hound who has bright chances. In his last race at the same venue, he ended up last in the list. However, who can forget his three consecutive wins last month, when he was at his best. After an ordinary show, his
confidence might be a bit shaky.
Yet, the black dog will be a treat to watch if he manages to repeat what he did in January. Droopys Maldini’s son out of Mill Lane Maggie will have to be flawless, as even a slight mistake will eliminate his chances.
Magna Fiddler is also in terrific rhythm at the moment. After completing his hat-trick of triumphs in January, the black dog was a bit rusty in his last race on February 2.
Despite enjoying a clear run, C. Evans’ trainee was not able to defeat Westmead Ourora, finishing second by 3 3/4 lengths.
In order to compete with the likes of Low Wood Gift and Skywalker Louie, the black dog will have to enhance his speed significantly.
Hes The Stig’s chances cannot be ignored, as he is coming into this battle after a couple of fair performances. On February 11, the audience saw him demonstrating a fine show despite being crowded. He sealed second place on the table, suffering
a close defeat at the hands of Quick Mover.
Droopys Berdych and Droumeragh Frank don’t have bright chances of winning. Both hounds have been performing below-par over the last few weeks and it might be dangerous to support them.
Final Prediction
The trio of Skywalker Louie, Low Wood Gift and
Magna Fiddler is likely to produce a nail-biting contest. It is very recommended one of them but
Skywalker Louie has a slight edge due to his excellent winning run.
