Fiery Creamer expected to shine at Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia 2012
American Paula Creamer is in every sense a great LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) star and when she tees off the upcoming Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia 2012 next month, her fans will
be expecting her to prove why she is the best of the best.
The Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia is slated to be played form October 11-14 at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, with a fearsome line-up.
Creamer did not take part in the last LPGA tournament — Navistar LPGA Classic 2012 — held last week at Prattville, Alabama, but her confirmation to join the field of Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia
has struck fear into most of her archrivals.
Observers said that there are good reasons to believe Creamer will tear apart the entire lineup at Kuala Lumpur.
Despite not being able to end her victory drought since her last triumph at the US Women’s Open in July 2010, Creamer has pulled herself together in recent weeks and has been able to record
some good finishes.
First off, a relentless battle at the Kingsmill Championship 2012 has helped Creamer toughen up. The American star locked horn with South Korean Jiyai Shin at the Kingsmill and moved into
playoff after posting equal scores in four rounds.
Shin, however, won the tournament on the ninth extra hole.
Creamer might have regretted letting the title slip through her hands, but she is clearly happy to have regained her lost form once gain and now she is ready to give her rivals a run for their
money.
One thing Creamer is going to capitalise on is the crowd support at Kuala Lumpur. The LPGA phenom is certainly the contender whom the Malaysian fans will get behind the most.
Sharing her thoughts about the upcoming tournament, Creamer said that she is keen to prove her mettle because she seeks to put an end to her winning drought.
She took part in the last edition of the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia and finished inside the top 10.
“I was a top 10 finisher last year and will be hoping to win it this year! It's a great golf course and an event which I always look forward to playing. I love coming to Malaysia!" Creamer
said while speaking to the media.
