Fifa 2008 online psp trouble ?

when i go online and after I pick my teams which it's working, then when I get to the loading screen it get's about 90% done loading then says your opponent has been disconnected 95% of the time that happens. CAN SOMEONE HELP, AND GIVE ME SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS ON WHAT TO DO?

are you trying to play with the same friend? if yes then probably he have a poor connection.

If this happens with any other gamer you are trying to play I don't think 95% have a bad connection (however it could be) so probably even when it says your opponent has been disconnected maybe your connection is not consistent and won't hold up to keep playing.

Many factors involve a poor connection, even if you are 1-2ft away from the router and have over 90% of excellent signal, it's a different thing to have good signal and have a consistent connection.

I had this problem before and it turns out to be a couple of things, First I was close to a 2.4Ghz phone, those home phones that work at 2.4 can cause interference, so microwaves and other wireless devices.

My second problem was my router, I had this old belkin router and it keep disconnecting me from 80% of my matches from FIfa08 on the PSP and same on the Wii, so I bought a router with gaming capabilities (which are somewhat expensive at $150-200) and all my problems were gone.

First, I would try playing with someone you know he don't experience those problems, a friend who can play most of the time without being disconnected and then try playing with him if you get disconnected then the problem is within your psp-wireless network.
