Fifis Legend likely to win Betfred.com Dual Distance Trophy - Heat 2
Fifis Legend is tipped to prevail in the Betfred.com Dual Distance Trophy - Heat 2 at Nottingham in England on Monday, June 25, 2012. The winning greyhound will walk away with a cash prize of £125.
The Grade OR, 480 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 20:22 GMT and six competitive hounds will be battling out for victory. However, the best chances of victory appear to be with Fifis Legend, who has got both the speed and stamina to outperform his
rivals.
The C. Allsopp’s trainee does not have a lot of experience, but he has done well in this class, which will encourage the punters to gamble more bets on him. He started off his career in a positive manner and did extremely well in a few trial events.
Fifis Legend took part in his first Grade OR event on January 26 this year and he delivered a solid result, winning by four lengths. He was given the best odds by the bookies and he did not disappoint them at all. There were a few other quality hounds lined
up for action back then, but they simply lacked the speed to fight at the front.
Although the fawn dog managed to perform well in a few events afterwards, his form in recent times has dipped to some extent. Last time he ran in this class was at Monmore and could only manage the third spot.
The son of Cashen Legend out of Shakira Live was quick at the start and could have battled for victory, but he got crowded badly on a couple of times, which cost him a chance of fighting at the front. Despite that, the result was not bad and there is a solid
chance for him to bounce back.
There is another runner, Bowtime Sykes, who is one of the top contenders for victory at Nottingham. He has earned the confidence of the bookies for this race, as his recent performances have been good.
However, the J. Bateson’s trainee was unable to deliver a positive result in his most recent outing, as he finished fifth overall. The competition was quite tough for him back then, but things will be a lot easier today, thus he has got a great chance of
challenging Fifis Legend for victory.
